Sidewinder still rocks

by

For people who grew up in Eastern North Carolina in the ‘80s, the band Sidewinder is synonymous with great music and good times. Known as “the East Coast’s premier rock and roll powerhouse,” Sidewinder played thousands of gigs and appeared on the nationally syndicated TV show “Star Search.”

Although the group disbanded in 1994, Sidewinder has regrouped to play special shows and benefits over the last two decades. Catch Sidewinder for free, along with Band of Brothers, Davis Messina Band and Garland Mason, at the 9th Annual Rock Your World Benefit Concert September 29 at The Mayton Inn in Cary.
