National Folk Festival Returns to Greensboro

by

One of America’s largest, most prestigious and longest-running celebrations of arts, culture and heritage returns to Downtown Greensboro September 9-11.

The National Folk Festival will feature over 300 of the nation’s finest traditional musicians, dancers and craftspeople in performances, workshops and demonstrations, plus children’s activities, savory Southern and ethnic cuisines and craft brews, participatory dancing, storytelling, parades and more. The National Council for the Traditional Arts started the National Folk Festival in 1934 and selected Greensboro to host the event in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Best of all, the festival is free. View the complete event schedule online.
