This year, Dollar General plans to hire about 500 people for newly created jobs in NC. North Carolina is just one of the states included in Dollar General’s 2017 growth plan.
The 78-year-old company, headquartered in Tennessee, recently announced its national expansion, which includes adding 1,000 stores and two distribution centers, creating up to 10,000 new jobs. Currently, there are 13,000 stores in 43 states.
Dollar General carries private brands as well as products from Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, Unilever, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Nabisco, Hanes, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola. Interested in a job? Apply online.
