Recently we shared a story about how virtual reality can help employees with nerve-wracking job interviews or a fear of public speaking. However, VR is taking on a role on the other side of the desk for employers.

Major companies – namely Lloyds Banking Group and Ernst & Young – have started using VR to test job candidates. At Lloyds, candidates were tested in virtual scenarios they would face on the job. EY interviews included video-simulation games to creatively test memory, perception and other skills less easily conveyed on paper. These technologies could dramatically change future candidates’ decisions and application processes.
