As two of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, it’s no surprise Raleigh and Charlotte lead the rankings for the best cities for young professionals.
SmartAssest evaluated factors that would tell if a city has the opportunity for job growth, affordable living, fun and entertainment. Specifically, they measured the percentage of residents between 25 and 34 years old, unemployment rate for young adults, median rent, median earnings, job diversity, the number of fun and entertaining activities, and the five-year change in median earnings.
Raleigh ranked second on the list, and Charlotte ranked eleventh. Here are the full rankings.
