In 2016 the NC Black Bear Festival won Event of the Year from the NC Association of Festivals and Events. Come to Plymouth June 2-4 to see all the ways the community celebrates black bears.
The festival features everything from bear tours, animal exhibits and music, to a 5K run, helicopter rides and a Baby Bear Dress-Up Contest. Throw in river tubing and water slides for extra fun. More information at www.ncbearfest.com.
