Lazy Daze Arts Festival Celebrates 40 Years

by

Cary’s Laze Daze Arts and Crafts Festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The expanded two-day event, August 27-28 at the Town Hall Campus, will feature more than 300 artists and crafts professionals from 16 states.

The festival has grown from a one-block event sponsored by a bank to winning 2004 Regional Event of the Year for North and South Carolina by the NC Association of Festivals and Events. The only year the event was cancelled was 2011 due to Hurricane Irene.

Lazy Daze also includes five stages and 25 food vendors.
