Festival of flowers

by
Biltmore Estate's gardens

Welcome spring with a stroll through the Biltmore Estate’s gardens. The first day of the season started with the celebration of Frederick Law Olmsted’s legacy and his last work: George Vanderbilt’s wonderful Biltmore gardens.

Until May 25, see the 100,000 planted bulbs slowly evolve into colorful blooms. At the estate’s Walled Garden, you will find 50,000 tulips, 14,000 daffodils and 1,000 hyacinths. Check out more bright colors inside the Biltmore Estate House, which features a display of tropical plants and extravagant flowers.

While you’re there, behold the “Biltmore Titanic Movie Costumes” and “Chihuly Glass Sculptures” exhibitions.
