The Massachusetts-based chain Wahlburgers, started by Mark Wahlberg and his brothers, is coming to downtown Raleigh in early 2017. It will be located at 319 Fayetteville Street, where The Oxford previously stood.
According to multiple news outlets, Wahlburgers’ CEO chose the location because with its “dynamic group of shops, restaurants and attractions, downtown Raleigh is at the height of economic growth, and we look forward to serving this diverse and thriving neighborhood.” They also plan to open a Charlotte location.
Wahlburgers offers full-service dining, counter service and a bar, and serves fresh burgers, homemade condiments and vegetarian options.
