Fish-shaped ice cream cones swim into Triangle

by
Sugarfish

After taking over Instagram feeds in New York and Boston, Japanese sweet treat Koiyaki has finally made its way downstream to the Triangle.

Sugarfish, now open in Brightleaf Square, features the specialty dessert, which includes soft-serve ice cream presented in a freshly made, fish-shaped cone. Choose from flavors like matcha green tea, banana pudding, Thai tea or cotton candy topped with all kinds of fun goodies, including mini mochi, crunchy rolled wafers and rainbow sprinkles.

The real taste explosion comes when the soft serve starts to melt, infusing the cake-like cone with even more ice cream flavor.
