Once the Thanksgiving bird is gone, it’s time to go see the holiday lights. This list will help you feast your eyes after you fill your belly:
• Meadow Lights, Nov. 22-Dec. 31 – This 30-acre display started 40 years ago. It’s the largest display in eastern North Carolina. Admission costs nothing.
• Hill Ridge Farms, Nov. 28-Dec. 29 – Ride covered wagons to see hundreds of thousands of lights. Enjoy bonfires, train rides and a giant slide. Admission is $9-12.
• Fieldstream Farm Lights, opens Nov. 28 – One million lights cover acres of farmland, highlighted by a drive-thru tunnel with 200,000 LEDs. Admission varies.
