As you’re tuning in to enjoy the Games of the XXXI Summer Olympiad between now and August 21, be on the lookout for athletes from North Carolina and with North Carolina ties.
There are numerous athletes competing in Rio in more than a dozen different sports who were either born in North Carolina, now call our state home, or attended one of our many fine colleges and universities.
