Where can you take week-long and weekend classes in everything from crafts, art, music, dance and cooking, to gardening, nature studies, photography and writing?

John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina, has been providing instruction in noncompetitive, non-graded classes since 1925. Students can learn traditional and modern crafts in a beautiful mountain setting and and atmosphere of living and learning.

Based on Danish folkehojskoles (folk schools), the school is named in honor of humanitarian John C. Campbell, who traveled throughout Appalachia with his wife. Classes are offered year-round. Learn more or call 1-800-FOLKSCH.
