Forsyth County is the fourth largest county in NC and is home to Winston-Salem, the state’s fifth largest city.
There are a bevy of historical and entertainment options to consider. Most everyone who grew up in NC visited Old Salem during a school field trip to learn about the rich history of the early south. If you’d rather be entertained than enlightened, hit one of the more than 20 local breweries, including one of the most popular and my favorite, Foothills Brewing.
