Life always seems so busy, and no one wants to deal with the stress of unexpected car trouble. Here are four easy things you can do yourself to keep your car running smoothly and safely:
• Check your windshield wipers: Make sure the wiper blades are aligned and functioning properly.
• Test your tire pressure: Newer cars have a tire pressure monitor, but older cars require a weekly, manual check.
• Look at your lights: Headlights, brake lights and turn signals can be hard to notice when they burn out.
• Examine your engine oil pressure: Check the oil dipstick regularly between oil changes.
