Root & Branch brings local flavor to RDU

by
Root & Branch

I love checking out the tchotchkes while cruising through the airport terminal but am hard pressed to find many things with local flavor. That’s why I’m excited to check out Root & Branch the next time I’m in Raleigh-Durham International Airport’s main terminal.

Local retail mavens Pam Blondin, owner of Deco, and jewelry maker Jessie Williams, founder of Edge of Urge, opened the space to highlight North Carolina makers and their products. The shop’s most popular gifts include candles from Charlotte company Ella B. Candles, which feature the names of local neighborhoods, and jewelry from Williams’ Edge of Urge stores.
