How Raleigh City Farm is farming for good

by The 100 Companies

Many Raleigh residents know Raleigh City Farm best for its fun activities, like its weekly Wine+Weeds event, where guests can work the land while sipping locally sourced wine. But this urban farm is doing a lot of good behind the scenes. Dedicated to supporting the community through sustainable agriculture, the farm hosts a Pay-What-You-Can Farmstand, where locals can buy fresh produce no matter their budget.

The farm goes a step further still to address food insecurity and a lack of access to freshly grown food. Through its Farmshare program, nearly 50 percent of its produce is donated to local nonprofits.
