In a recent blog post, I took a look at the overuse of buzzwords in the corporate setting.
I wondered why these meaningless words are so common in business today, despite prominent business media publications pleading with people to stop using them, or even making a joke of it all.
In my 20-plus years in the marketing industry, my experience has taught me that speaking in plain English, even when dealing with complicated issues, is far more effective than using made-up words that no one truly understands. We are human beings – let’s talk to each other as such.
