EY investing in Charlotte, emerging technologies

Blockchain. Artificial intelligence. Fintech disruptors. It’s been hard to ignore the excitement and speculation surrounding each of these disciplines, which have become some of the trendiest business terms of the past few years.

However, in yet another example of how these business disciplines have made their way into the mainstream, EY (formerly Ernst & Young) recently announced plans to add 375 new jobs in Charlotte focused on these emerging technologies.

The expansion will include the development of an innovation center called EY wavespace™, part of an initiative focused on helping “clients catch the next wave in radical breakthroughs in business transformation.
