Amicus startup

A Charlotte fintech startup is among 19 companies – out of an applicant pool of nearly 1,800 from more than 50 countries – to be accepted into the Wells Fargo Startup Accelerator.

Amicus.io provides a digital platform to support charitable giving by clients of financial institutions through products banks already offer, such as online banking or donor-advised funds. The company aims to “create an experience that more easily allows people to align their financial actions with their values.”

The Wells Fargo Startup Accelerator is designed to advance exploration in emerging technologies like analytics, cybersecurity, payments, artificial intelligence and others.
