Saluda is a mountain oasis in Western North Carolina near the South Carolina border. Thousands of visitors are expected on May 19 for the 15th annual Saluda Arts Festival, showcasing fine arts and crafts from more than 82 visual and performing artists from North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina.
Virtually every art medium will be represented, including paintings, pottery, metalwork, jewelry, sculptures, fiber and more.
Musical acts slated to perform include Mercury Rising, Life Like Water, Calvin Get Down, Roots and Dore, and The Radio Rangers. The festival also includes a dance concert from students of The Dancer’s Extension school.
