The North Carolina Azalea Festival is Wilmington’s annual community celebration. This year marks the festival’s 70th anniversary in the Port City.
This year’s festival features 30 events happening throughout the city from April 11-15, including free offerings such as a parade, juried art show, youth art contest, waterfront street fair and fireworks. Ticketed events include the Queen’s Tea, garden tours, Airlie Luncheon Garden Party, historic homes tour and performances in the Main Stage Concert Series featuring Billy Currington, 38 Special and Ludacris.
Come see why this wonderful festival is billed as the largest of its kind in the state.
