The Council of State Chambers, the national organization for chamber CEOs and their executive leadership, selected the North Carolina Chamber as the first recipient of the State Chamber of the Year award.
This new award brings attention to initiatives and best practices that advance state chambers’ missions and work, and recognizes state chambers that distinguish themselves with exceptional services and member results.
The award is measured on areas including public policy, political engagement, membership and development, organizational development, communications and member services. An independent panel of judges determined that your state chamber embodies these key principles of teamwork and collaboration.
