Coincidentally, North Carolina has 100 counties. It plays quite nicely into the North Carolina 100 model.
In the NC Guy column, I plan to write about our highly diverse and growing state by featuring our counties and something unique or interesting in each one. From Murphy to Manteo, we have some of the most interesting people, businesses, events and places. Some make the national news, but we have just as many hidden gems.
If you have a unique story idea or know of something special about your county that you feel is deserving of a feature, please let me know.
