Wilson, the little city nestled in the heart of Eastern NC, recently was named among the top 10 best small cities to start a business – our state’s only city to make the top 20 list.
WalletHub analyzed more than 1,200 business-friendly U.S. small cities to rank the best ones for starting a business.
“Our data set of 16 key metrics ranges from average growth in number of small businesses to investor access to labor costs,” according to WalletHub.
Wilson came in 6th best after Holland, Mich.; Carbondale, Ill.; Springville, Utah; East Chicago, Ind.; and Jefferson City, Mo.
