A recent study from Accenture Life Sciences determined that healthcare professionals are consistently leaving patients uninformed about services available to them. According to the report, patients want to know more, but the healthcare pros don’t have a strong awareness as to what is available themselves. Fewer than half of healthcare providers are aware of patient services, with only 40 percent very aware.
