YouTube number one, Instagram makes moves

Who knew YouTube would make a comeback? We knew Facebook would decline in the number of teen users once mom and grandmom started using the platform, but it’s surprising that YouTube is the number one most widely used platform among teens in the US.

According to Pew Research Center, YouTube is used by 85 percent of U.S. teens, Instagram by 72 percent, Snapchat by 69 percent, and Facebook by 51 percent – a 20 percent drop over the last three years.

Instagram is now trying to beat out YouTube by launching IGTV to watch long-form videos. Should YouTube be worried?
