State Fair Now Serving Beer and Wine

This year for the very first time, North Carolina State Fair-goers of legal drinking age may purchase and enjoy wine and beer at the fair.

The N.C. State Fair will feature 40 breweries and 40 wineries. A flight of either wine or beer is $10. Look for the Our State Public House to make a purchase.

“The Our State Public House is an opportunity to showcase North Carolina’s beer and wine industries, which are significant contributors to our agricultural economy,” said Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler in a written statement. “Visitors can also learn how these products are made.”
