St. Patrick’s Day in the Triangle

Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. This year it falls on Sunday, meaning there’s more time to celebrate. Here are some Triangle festivities to get your shamrocks shaking:

• Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival – Starting at 10AM, the downtown parade has bands, floats, dancers, dogs, horses and more, followed by a family-friendly festival in City Plaza.

• Fortnight Brewing beer mile – Run, walk or jig through the course in Cary while enjoying beer straight from the brewery.

• St. Paddy’s Day with goats – Chapel Hill’s Spring Haven Farm offers fun with goats, baby pigs, horses, treats, face painting and hayrides.
