Mardi Gras season is upon us, which means lots of parades, parties and pastries. In keeping with these themes, here are a few of my favorite apps for Carnival season:

• GO NOLA is a guidebook, entertainer and event calendar all in one. This app reveals timely happenings, perfect for the Carnival season.
• Craving king cake but don’t feel like fighting traffic to get one? UberEATS will deliver to you.
