Briar Chapel Named One of Nation’s Top Master-Planned Communities

Briar Chapel by Newland Communities, one of the Triangle’s largest green communities, secured a spot as one of America’s 50 largest master-planned communities in 2016.

Ranked as number 40 according to a report by John Burns Real Estate Consulting, Briar Chapel is the first community in NC to make this list in three years.

In 2016, Briar Chapel sold 315 homes, securing a 50% sales increase over the previous year. On completion, residents will be able to enjoy 500,000 square feet of commercial space, such as the recently unveiled “Veranda” addition, featuring dining, retail, healthcare and education offerings.
