Getting involved with trees

Being a Tree City community shows a commitment to keeping a city green and having outdoor spaces for citizens to enjoy. These communities have tree boards made up of committed volunteers who care about trees.

Having an active tree board in your community, helping your town advocate/educate about the importance of trees, leads to more successful community trees. Tree board volunteers simply have a passion for trees and green space. They donate time and energy to support tree care in their community.
