Does your New Year’s resolution include being more creative in 2017? Consider taking a class from the Penland School of Crafts in Penland, NC.
This international center for craft education offers one-, two- and eight-week workshops in areas such as papermaking, bookbinding, clay, drawing, glass, iron, metals, photography, printmaking, textiles and wood.
Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the school also features artists’ residencies, community collaboration programs, and a gallery and information center. You can register now for spring and summer workshops. If you’re in the area on March 4, stop in for their free Community Open House.
