Since the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) opened in 2008, the 2,700-seat theater has become the leading entertainment venue in NC, hosting a variety of Broadway and comedy shows, concerts and special events.
After breaking attendance records in the past year, DPAC was recognized as one of the top theaters in the nation by three national magazines:
• Venues Today – Listed #3 in Attendance in the US for 2,001-5,000 Capacity Venues
• Billboard Magazine – Listed #4 in Gross Sales in the US for Venues Under 5,000 Capacity
• Pollstar Magazine – Listed #5 in Attendance in the US
