A Career Center on Wheels

The NCWorks Mobile Career Center, a “classroom on wheels” sponsored by the NC Department of Commerce, recently welcomed more than 150 service members and veterans to a Fort Bragg hiring event. The event was hosted by the Columbia Southern Education Group, whose main focus is to connect veterans and transitioning soldiers with leading companies throughout the state of North Carolina.

More than 90% of attendees were hired or invited to a second interview with companies such as Duke Energy, Time Warner and CVS.

The NCWorks mobile unit travels to several locations per month to promote job growth and economic development.
