According to the Brookings Institution, North Carolina exports contribute to more than 370,000 jobs in the state.

To recognize companies’ dedication to growth through exporting, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, along with the Office of the Governor and the North Carolina Department of Commerce, established the Governor’s Export Awards.

Gov. Roy Cooper recently presented the first annual Governor’s Export Awards to five companies: Therafirm in Richmond County, Blue Ridge Chair Works in Buncombe County, Frontier Spinning Mills in Lee County, Tri-Tech Forensics in Brunswick County, and New Growth Designs in Pitt County. Congratulations to the winners!
