3 big changes for vehicles in 2019

We are likely to see some big changes next year. Our three predictions for vehicles include:

• More options for electric vehicles: More vehicle manufacturers will introduce new models of electric vehicles in 2019. With more options, sales for electric vehicles will likely improve.

• Fewer drivers, more riders: We expect a continuation of pay-to-ride scooter and bicycle services momentum, as people look for alternative ways to get around.

• Higher vehicle prices: Due to higher anticipated taxes on parts and materials from China, we agree with the Center for Automotive Research that the cost of new cars will rise.
