The inaugural RDC Marathon and Half Marathon benefitting ALS will happen November 12 in Durham. The USATF-certified courses feature the American Tobacco Trail, showcasing the diversity of the local area, from modern urban city to quiet forest trails and open farmland.
The Streets at Southpoint mark the start and finish lines, giving participants and spectators the opportunity to wine, dine, shop and run. The race organizers are excited to welcome many people from out of town. Locals and visitors should check out the Food and Brew tours schedule.
There is also a family-friendly 5k race on November 11.
