Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Recent cancer treatment isn’t stopping Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from her scheduled appearance in Raleigh in September.

Ginsburg plans to speak at Meredith College on Sept. 23 for its 2019 Lillian Parker Wallace Lecture. Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, will share the stage with Suzanne Reynolds, the first woman to serve as dean of the Wake Forest University School of Law.

Tickets cost nothing but are limited to Meredith College students, faculty and staff through a lottery that started Aug. 26. Any remaining tickets will be available for a public lottery starting Sept. 16.
