Advice from women in leadership

by The 100 Companies

JEDCO asked women in leadership to share their best advice for career growth, advancement and female empowerment.

“Be deliberate in fighting for more opportunities for minority businesses,” said Teresa Lawrence, CEO of Delta Personnel. “Seek out [other women] and don’t be afraid to ask for their help.”

“It’s okay to go the non-traditional route,” said Dr. Lana Joseph-Ford, founder and CEO of High Level Speech & Hearing Center. “You are in charge of creating your own reality.”

“Be assertive, be authentic and speak up,” said Diane Jackson, director of curriculum and programs for The Slone Group.
