For those wanting to start the year off on a healthy foot, in addition to Dry January, there’s the vegan January challenge.
Veganuary, as it’s known, encourages people worldwide to try eating only vegan foods for the entire month of January. This means eliminating all meat, fish, dairy, eggs and other animal products from diets. Moving to a plant-based diet has many benefits including protecting the environment, ending animal farming (and animal suffering) and improved health.
While we’re already halfway into the month, there’s still time to participate. Who knows, you might just find it’s the lifestyle for you full-time.
