Civilian helicopters fail fire safety

by
helicopter

Over the past several years, fires have threatened the lives of passengers who ride on helicopters. Civilian helicopters are used for sightseeing, utility repairs, emergency medical transportation and everything in between.

Helicopter businesses were supposed to update fire safety on fuel tanks after multiple serious fires occurred, but many companies failed to update their durability. According to accident investigators, there have been over 170 fiery helicopter crashes in the U.S. alone.

It is important for individuals to hold helicopter industries responsible and inquire about fire safety and what to do in case of an emergency before riding on one.
